Due to your kind support of help and donations, we are able to save horses in distress.

Our work has become even more critical, as we are seeing an increase in cases of mistreatment and abandonment throughout Spain, due to the economic crisis.
Many of the horses we are helping now are older, those who need to retire from working in riding schools, who are lame or in poor health. Having served their purpose, these animals are no longer able to fulfil their intended role, and are sadly cast aside.

We are also coming to the aid of horses whose owners have fallen on bad times and cannot provide the food and care needed for their animals.
We come across many horses who are neglected, left unseen by the public, to starve to death in stalls on private land.

We aim to rehabilitate all of these horses, easing them into a new life without stress, and with the freedom of a paddock to roam around in, living in a herd where possible, with shelter and plenty of food. With your help and support, a lot of these horses can be adopted by a loving family and can look forward to living to a ripe old age in a peaceful environment. All our funding comes from donations and are staff and helpers are all volunteers.
