Floods in Valencia

Help us help them!

We are trying to help horse and other animal shelters in Valencia, who have been affected by, and are now in desperate need of support following, the devastating floods after the recent DANA storm. (A DANA storm is a weather system that causes heavy rainfall, flash floods, hail, and tornadoes in Spain. The name DANA is a Spanish acronym for ‘high-altitude isolated depression’.) ‘Club Ecuestre Catarroja’ is a horse rescue we are in direct contact with. They have 17 horses and six dogs, and like all the affected rescues, they really need our help and support at this time..

Please help us to help these wonderful shelters find their way back to normality. You can do this by donating to a local animal food distribution centre with the details ‘HELP AFTER DANA’. Your donation will go directly towards a delivery of hay or food to any horse / dog / cat centre who needs help.
