Pili

Pili, (Pilar) was first rescued by APAC back in October 2013, after a call from the Guardia Civil. She had been abandoned near Benidorm with a broken knee, was extremely thin and had been left to fend for herself. Pili had survived being alone for 8 months.

Finally, at APAC, Pili got to enjoy some peaceful rest and relaxation, eating her hay in the sunshine. We had a whole year of Pili, one we never believed would be possible. We couldn’t change the circumstances that led her to us, but she was a fighter, and much loved by Lois and the team who ensured that she eventually got to experience a lovely time in her life, filled with love.

Sadly we lost Pili in June 2015. Her health was failing badly and her balance was so precarious, that everyday we worried if Pili was to fall, how she would ever get up. We hope that she can enjoy her time in horse heaven, without pain, and able to walk and run free again.
