Warrior

Warrior came to us during the Covid-19 pandemic. He came in with three other horses from Villajoyosa, Valencia. While the others got adopted, Warrior stayed with us. Already 29 years old when he arrived, it must have been a big upheaval for this old boy, but Warrior settled in quickly, in fact it was as if he had always lived with us.

A bit on the slimmer side, we did worry about this big guy, but we worked on fattening him up which he seemed to enjoy! He spent time exploring the stables and playing with the other horses, and so we knew that everything is fine. He formed a special bond with Princess Patsy who was his favourite. Given Warrior’s grand statue and slight build, and Patsy’s small rotund figure, they made a slightly comical but extremely cute pair!

Warrior will be dearly missed by all his human and horsey friends, particularly Patsy.
